Why Me? 

Loking out onward and beyond,

Starring out on this big beautiful world,

With endless possibilities within my reach,

I can’t help but wonder,

And ask myself,

Why Me?

First it was simple,

Finding myself,

Waking from an age old slumber,

Peering out through the gloom,

Finding my strength,

My feet,

And my belongings.

I ventured outside,

Was given a few basic instructions,

Simple enough to follow,

But now it’s too much!

First it was the towers,

Then the shrines,

And then…

The Beast,

The Beast I have to defeat!

All this pressure,

All this responsibility,

Why Me?

That was then,

This is now,

Now I need to learn this world,

Meet new friends,

And slay new monsters,

Activate more towers,

Complete new shrines,

All to re-build my strength,

To defeat the great threat,

That only I can defeat?
