Tangfastics are by far the best Haribo sweets you can buy! They are almost perfectly balanced, between the realms of Tangy, sweet and sour, whether you suck them, or chew them. Either way, they are so enjoyable to eat. It’s hard to think of any other Haribo sweet that comes close to Tangfastics.
I actually discovered something rather interesting about Tangfastics, just this week. There are only four types of sweet in a pack. It’s true. Starmix has five different sweets in a pack:
Where as Tangfastics only have four (which is why this list is a Top 4, and not a Top 5). So, given that they are my favourite type of Haribo, I thought it might be fun to do a quick list, ranking which ones are my big favourites among these four illustrious sweets; Enjoy!
4. Cola Bottles – Fizzy Cola Bottles, are a pretty nice addition to thae pack, they are however rather small. The same great delicious taste of Tangfastics is there, but it’s over rather quickly. If you want to prolong them, you have no choice but to suck them!
3. Sour Cherries – Sour Cherries are quite nice, and they fall comfortably in the bracket of other large Haribo sweets, in that the bigger they are, the longer they last, and the more enjoyable they are as a result. However, a bag of Tangfastics is rarely split evenly between the four shapes, and there always seems to be more cherries in a pack, than any other shape, which means they can get a bit borring, a bit too quickly!
2. Crocodiles – Crocodiles are something of an enigma in a bag of Tangfastics. The other three shapes seem to be made of a solid gelatin/jelly like mixture, covered in sugar. The Crocodiles meanwhile, like the Hearts and Eggs in Starmix, feature a foam like base, beneath the jelly. It gives them an extra level of texture and detail, which makes eating one of them, feel like an entirely different eating experience!
1. Fizzy Dummies (or Keys as somepeople call them) – You know how you can sometimes get packs of Haribo Sweets, which are not mixed variaties? Like the bag of Gummy/Gold Bears for instance, it’s just a whole pack of Gummy Bears. I wish Haribo released one just for Fizzy Dummies. The Fizzy Dummies, are just so gorgeous, and Haribo seem like the only company who can do them justice. Fizzy Dummies from other brands, are not as nice as Haribo Fizzy Dummies; but it means that if I want to eat Fizzy Dummies, I have to buy a pack of Tangfastics, and hope there are plenty of them (and not 50% Sour Cherries)!
