Mini Film Review – Tenet

I have just been out to see Tenet; and it was very confusing! Directed by Christopher Nolan, and starring John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Elizabeth Debicki, Tenet is a spy thriller about a CIA agent trying to prevent a global catastrophe. The film features the deep and engrossing action hallmarks of Nolan’s work; the rest of the film though is very confusing! I really struggled to make any sense of what was going on, and while you start to get an idea by the third act; the whole film is hampered by an incredible amount of ambiguous mumbling! It’s not like Inception where the cast spoke in a clearly understandable level of spoken detail: ‘NO!’ It’s like the cast are all wearing face masks! You can’t hear or understand them, and it just makes the whole experience drag on as you are lost in a sea of confusion. Maybe read the synopsis online before you go see it!
