This weekend, I went to see Bridget Christie: Jacket Potato Pizza, at the Ashton Hall in Lancaster, and it was hillarious! Starring Bridget Christie; Jacket Potato Pizza is Christie’s latest tour! I have previously seen her live all the way back in 2018, and she was epically funny, and this time around…she didn’t disappoint. The way she’s able to cross barriers between politics, modern life, and her own experiences so easily is just extraordinary. She can go from highlighting the many pitfalls of Donald Trump, before immediately switching to talking about how her friends talk to her at the cafe, whilst also showing off the key simillarities between both. The show started off slow and simple, but by the end I was in stitches, as nearly everything spoken was a punchline. Bridget Christie definetely has a real gift for comedy, and it’s a real tragedy that she doesn’t get more TV work! But whilst waiting for TV to open it’s eyes to her raw talent, you can always go see her perform live. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
