Mini Video Game Review – Pikmin 3 Deluxe

Recently I have been playing Pikmin 3 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch; and it’s been really good! Developed by Nintendo, Pikmin 3 Deluxe is the Switch version of Pikmin 3, which was originally released for the Wii U. Much like the previous games in the Pikmin series, Pikmin 3 is a Real-Time-Strategy and Puzzle game, where the player controls a group of flower based creatures to solve puzzles and battle enemies on a far away planet. The game was really enjoyable from the first time it loaded up. The levels are bright and colorful, the controls are pretty easy to get the hang of, and the immersion into the story and world is seamless as you are hooked from the very start. Some of the gameplay can be annoying such as Pikmin being unable to jump over obstacles when called back to you. Despite that little niggle though, it’s almost perfect, and features many more game modes to get stuck into once you complete the core game mode!
