Mini Film Review – Zack Snyder’s Justice League

I have (over 2 days) just watched Zack Snyder’s Justice League; and it was pretty good! Directed by Zack Snyder, and starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot; Zack Snyder’s Justice league is a re-cut of the Justice League film released in 2017, but this time is more faithful to the original vision by Zack Snyder. In the film, Batman (Affleck) brings together a team of superheroes to take on the threat of an alien force. The film is long, there is no way of getting round that point. It’s longer than any single release in The Lord of the Rings film series, and whilst I could have watched it in one sitting, I needed a break after the first half. The film though is nicely cut down to smaller chapters which makes blending from one chapter to the next easier if you decide to take a break. It may be four hours long; but, it wasn’t boring! It was a really cool film. The the film works hard to make every second worth it. The characters were really cool, and the film featured not one or two, but several standout performances from it’s more talented cast; with particular mentions for Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Jeremy Irons, Ezra Miller, Joe Morton, Peter Guinness, and Ciaran Hinds. The story was interesting, the fights were exciting, the characters were cool, the build-up was intriguing, and altogether, it created a really cool movie, that is worth every penny! It was also the gift that kept on giving, as it provided further details to wet your appetite for the future!
