Strange weather conditions have been seen around the world. From the breaking away of a large ice shelf in the Antarctic Peninsula, to giant hail stones in Tokyo. But things get worse, very quickly, when Los Angeles is hit by not one, but four tornadoes. The Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith, have just returned from their encounter with the Sontaran Linx, back to present day London, but find the city entirely deserted. Looting is rife, and soldiers patrol the streets, arresting people on sight. Soon though, the Doctor and his companion discover that somehow, the Dinosaurs have returned, and are attacking the capital. But even more weird, is how they keep disappearing out of thin air! Shortly before the end of World War II, a Kamikaze pilot lands on Odo Island claiming his plane is experiencing issues, although the island mechanics can’t find anything wrong with his plane. During the night, a giant monster that the locals call Godzilla; suddenly appears, and wipes out most of the men stationed on the island. Having survived the night, the pilot returns to his devastated home, and meets a young girl, and a baby. But rather than containing the vast riches the vault hunters desired, opening the vault caused a valuable mineral known as Eridium to flourish across the planet of Pandora, and in turn led a man simply known as Handsome Jack, to take control of the planet! In Okinawa, an Azumi priestess sees a vision of a giant monster (although sadly the wrong one) attacking a city. Meanwhile strange things begin to happen. A young man discovers a strange metal in a cave, whilst at an excavation, a construction worker and an investigative archeologist discover an ancient statue of a dog like creature. The vision is starting to unravel in the form of an ancient prophecy, that warns of an evil monster coming to destroy the world.
