Mini Film Review – Overlord

I have just been out to see Overlord; and it was Terrifying!Set just hours before D-Day, Overlord follows a group of American Soldiers on a mission to help assist the Normandy landings and in the process discover some terrifying experiments being conducted on the locals. Overlord is a truly terrifying film, it comes packed to the teeth with round the corner shocks and scares to make you rock in your seat. It has some great gore and grotesque scenes that will make you want to reach for the sick bag; even I pondered about leaving the cinema because some of the scenes were getting to me. A really cool cast in a fast paced film that sets out on a mission to scare the life out of you, and succeeds. Overall, a good film if a bit much on the extreme side.
