Mini Video Game Review – Bad North

I have just finished playing Bad North on Nintendo Switch; and it was really fun! Developed by Plausible Concept; Bad North is a Real-Time-Strategy game where the player is put in charge of a small battalion of soldiers defending islands from an oncoming horde of Vikings. The game is nice and easy to play, with the Switch controls blending in nicely. Whilst the game does feature a tutorial mode, it’s not all that great at explaining how special abilities work, with the player needing to discover that on their own. Also (for those unlucky enough to be affected by it), at times the game won’t load, it will feature an infinite loading screen for a good length of time and not actually load the game at all! Little bugs and issues aside though, it doesn’t detract from how fun and enjoyable this mini strategy game is!
