Majungasaurus

Majungasaurus was a species of Theropod Dinosaur which; according to paleontologists, lived in the area now known as Madagascar during the Cretaceous Period. Today, it’s one of the most studied bi-pedal dinosaurs from the southern hemisphere. It measured roughly 7 metres long and was roughly the same height as a human. It featured a short snout and a rather compact skull, and much like the Tyrannosaurus, is believed to have had short limbs. Majungasaurus was the Apex Predator of it’s eco-system, and it has also has been discovered to have been a cannibal, killing and eating other members of it’s own species.

Whilst not widely known about, Majungasaurus is a pretty cool and rather funky Dinosaur, so I thought I would do a quick post about it.
