Mini Film Review – Steve Jobs

I have just watched Steve Jobs; and it was really good! Directed by Danny Boyle, and starring Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, and Jeff Daniels; Steve Jobs paints a picture of the Apple co-founder through three product launches. Instead of being more of a biopic, the film is brilliantly coordinated to show the run-ins Steve has/had with several key people in his life. Instead of showing perhaps how the titular character changed computing, it instead shows who he was as a person, and how through three major times in his life, he built bridges with people, to then burn them down to the ground, and then build brand new ones. The ending story is moving and features a tear creating scene between Steve and his daughter (Perla Haney-Jardine), which puts the whole picture in a wonderful closing perspective. Altogether, it was a surprisingly enjoyable, but also very moving piece.
