I have just watched The Girl Who Played With Fire; and it was really captivating! Directed by Daniel Alfredson, and starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Nyqvist, and Lena Endre, The Girl Who Played with Fire is a Swedish crime thriller based on the novel of the same name by Stieg Larsson. Acting as a direct sequel to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo; This time Lisbeth Salander finds herself being framed for a triple murder. It’s a very interesting crime thriller as it’s about two people who were near inseparable in the previous film; not having any contact this time around. It was about one person trying to find the other, whilst the other is out for revenge, whilst also dodging the law. So it was a crime thriller on several fronts with a very detailed investigation; much like the previous film. Much like the previous film, there is also a bucket load of violence, backed up with some truly haunting imagery!
