Mini Book Review – The Wrong Train

This week, I finished reading The Wrong Train; and it was a pretty haunting read! Written by Jeremy de Quidt, and published by David Fickling Books; the Wrong Train is a collection of short horror stories for young adult readers; with a sub story of a young man who has caught the wrong train and is entertained by a strange old man who tells him these wicked stories. With it being a collection, it can be hard to keep up with the surrounding story, especially if you are reading it on and off. The stories though are simply haunting. Some can be hit and miss, but most of the time they are simply terrifying; with incredibly cruel endings! Definitely worth a read; but maybe before it goes dark outside!
