Mini TV Review – The Bridge

Recently I have been watching The Bridge; and it was pretty good! Produced by Channel 4 and narrated by James McAvoy; The Bridge is a reality TV series about a group of 12 strangers who all meet up to build a bridge to an island with £100K jackpot on it. The series to me looked very similar to Eden: Paradise Lost from a few years ago, but instead of being over the course of a whole year; it was just 20 days. It was interesting to see how they contestants changed over the period, how some played the game of the show, some became good friends, and others tricked and manipulated their way to the top of the hierarchy. The flares and mini challenges helped to keep the show fresh and sow the seeds of deceit, while at times simply help the contestants along. It was a cool show, and an experiment worth watching!
