Writing Prompt – Reverse First Contact

Imagine that instead of Aliens arriving on Planet Earth; it’s Humans that travel into space and make first contact with aliens on their planets!

Think about what the aliens might look like, and how they might act upon seeing a human for the first time. Are they scarred, intrigued, puzzled, etc.?

Do the humans act the same way that aliens are represented in similar pieces of fiction, or perhaps even real alien encounters? Do they do things to the aliens, or are the aliens experimenting on humans?

Maybe there could be a human autopsy conducted by aliens, or an alien version of Area 51?
