I found it rather enjoyable. Birdman is a really fun film with moments of drama and laughter. The relationships between the characters was brilliant, and the use of drums in tense situations really helps to lighten the scenes as well as keep the pace up. Particularly enjoyed the performances of Keaton, Riseborough, Norton and Stone. It also has interesting parallels to Keaton’s career, making subtle hints to his earlier success as Batman in Tim Burton‘s now legendary blockbuster, to his new-found resurgence ironically since this film’s release. Altogether a very interesting and enjoyable film.
