Mini Video Game Review – New Pokémon Snap

Recently I have been playing New Pokemon Snap; and its really Awesome! Developed by Bandai Namco Studios for the Nintendo Switch; New Pokemon Snap is an adventure photography game where the player is tasked with making a photographic collection of Pokemon in the wild. The game’s core mechanic revolves around a player in a small on-rails vehicle, as it travels a set path. Around the player is a wide collection of Pokemon, which the player can take pictures of. At the end of each course, the player’s photos are evaluated. The game is a pretty big one with more courses and more Pokemon in comparison to the original Pokemon Snap on the N64. As the player delivers better photographs, more courses are unlocked, with additional options such as going through the same course during both the day or night. The game does have a little story which is hard at times to keep up with due to it’s scattered points; but the core gameplay is soo much fun. And just when you think it’s all over, more courses and options become available. A really cool and incredibly fun game!
